Wow! That's a lot of red! I bet the festivities are beautiful.
I remember entering one of these shop in preparation of my wedding. I was awed by the number of things, the auntie there told me I HAD to buy!!! *sweat*
So I'm guessing red is the color of choice for weddings...
Very colorful and great for ruby Tuesday!
red for good luck? :) beautiful.
one reason why i love Chinese weddings---the traditional Chinese red is vibrant!
So much wonderful red! So much richer and more passionate than boring old white! Cool photo.
That is a lot of rich, vibrant red. I'll bet the weddings are beautiful to see!
Lots of red!!
Reminds me of shops in the US for Valentine's Day.
Nice RED shot. Is red a lucky color in Asia?
Plenty of red there! Great shot! Oh yes, as Carletta said - we'll have lots of red next month for Valentines day.
Here in Panang, I found very limited space to find all those things. Only can find in some very old shops.
Red seems like a beautiful colour for celebrating marriage!
AWESOME RT photo! That is a sea of red!
what a beautiful shop!!
That would be a fun store to explore.
Seems like red is a popular color for Chinese weddings!
Hi, Dora,
how I enjoy blogging!
Getting to know other cultures and art forms in all these small details that a travel guide would not do.
Thank you for sharing this Ruby report from Singapore.

Can't wait to read all your wonderful write-ups. I am really in the mood of CNY now as my son sings the "Chai Shen Tao" song and pretends playing the lion dance everyday.
Where is this shop? Not that I need to have another wedding of course :-P
