Xing Hua Vegetarian Restaurant

Xing Hua Vegetarian Restaurant

This is another vegetarian eating place which I would like to recommend. Located near the Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple (四马路观音堂), this restaurant has a variety of rice and vegetarian dishes (Chap Chai Png or 杂菜饭) as well as Cze Char (煮炒) dishes.

Menu (Specialty Dishes)

Assorted Vegetarian Dishes (1 of 2)

Assorted Vegetarian Dishes (2 of 2)

I ordered red cargo rice and 3 dishes (sweet and spicy vegetarian fish, vegetarian curry mutton and stir-fried eggplant) @ SGD3.00.

Red Cargo Rice with Vegetarian Dishes

My favourite dish is the sweet and spicy vegetarian fish which I even bought some (3 pcs @ SGD2.00) back for dinner. :)

A lot of choices. I'm a seasonal vegetarian. I'm working on going full time but it will take a lot of effort and discipline. :)

it is a little amusing that when eating vegetarian food, we still have to make it appear like meat dishes :) and have meat sounding names :)
