Yesterday was the 1st day of Chinese New Year and it's our traditional practice in my family to have vegetarian meal for breakfast.
Here're what we had:

2. Stir Fried Pea Shoots (豆苗) with King Oysters (from Mycofarm)
3. Braised Vegetarian Meat
4. Fried Vegetarian Bee Hoon
5. Braised Mixed Vegetables [Vegetarian Chap Chai (Chap Chye)]
Besides these, we also had dessert - Cheng Tng (Dessert soup containing gingko nuts, lotus seeds, white fungus, dried lily bulbs, dried longans and red dates).

Very nice spread of vegetarian dishes! It's a good idea to have vegetarian food. Maybe I should take up the practice too.
